“The NV La Bota de Fino Chiclana 135 is a new bottling of Fino sourced from Chiclana, from the winery of Manuel Aragón, a serious and austere Fino, with textbook notes of esparto grass and wet chalk, still easy to drink, despite being seven to eight years of age. This is still a baby, bottled in September 2025. This is serious and powerful, closer to the wines from Jerez on the nose and with a lighter palate and more salinity, narrower than the stony concentration of the wines from Macharnudo, for example, leaving a salty, marine sensation.
