“Sourced in Fully’s Les Claives granite terroir and aged in barrels for 16 months, the dark 2024 Grain Syrah is a beautiful Alpine red wine classic from the upper Rhône. It offers ripe and aromatic cherry and dark berry aromas on the intense but fresh and spicy as well as smoky nose that integrates white pepper and licorice aromas along with some toasty nuances. This is a picture-book Rhône Syrah from French-speaking Switzerland. The wine is fresh and fleshy but also juicy, elegant and refined as well as spicy on the palate, with ripe and round yet savory tannins structuring the black cherry fruit texture.
