“The 2023 Riesling Brandstatt retains a vestige of smokiness on the shy nose. It was made in smaller oak barrels, but the only indication is a touch of creaminess. The palate offers a softer aspect and some creaminess, yet maintains the customary precision, clarity and brightness of the estate. Bright and buil to last. Do not touch this for a good number of years, if you can manage, as the citrus charm is beguiling. So long and lemony with a slight creaminess from malolactic fermentation.” 95p. Riesling Brandstatt er Muthenthalers top Riesling. Enorm power og mineralsk koncentration, men stadig sensuel, let cremet og utroligt indsmigrende, selv som ung. En vin der lagrer utroligt godt, men også giver en enorm fornøjelse som ung. Årgang efter årgang en af Wachaus største rieslinger.
